- 3M™ thin flexographic mounting tape 2205 is a double coated film tape constructed of a polyester film carrier with differential adhesives specifically designed for the corrugated printing business to hold flexographic print plates to pvc saddles/carriers. Both adhesives are designed to provide high holding power and to cleanly remove from both the plate and the carrier. This product uses the 3M™ proprietary easy mount liner, which creates micro-channels in the linered side adhesive surface. The crosshatched pattern creates a continuous and permanent network of micro-channels in the adhesive, allowing air to escape from between the tape and the carrier.
