- The 3M™ high performance depressed center grinding wheel T27 is a thin wheel constructed of 3M™ ceramic abrasive grain for high quality, fast cut and increased productivity and through put. It is a rigid resin bonded wheel that is approximately 1/4 in thick and is useful for removing welds from internal angles. It has a depressed center to allow grinding at any angle without damaging the surrounding surface with the attachment. The grinding wheel must be run on a right angle grinder with a wheel guard that is designed specifically for the size of wheel and must have a maximum operating speed greater than or equal to the maximum speed of the grinder used. Use for edge beveling, chamfering, gate removal, plate grinding and right angle grinding. This product is specially formulated to be used on stainless and mild steel. This wheel features a quick-change attachment with a threaded center hole to enable easy, secure attachment to the tool without the use of a nut.
