- Scotch® steel gray masking paper is an ideal material for paint masking in collision repair. It is strong, flexible and pliable, and it??s available in a variety of sizes ?? including small 3? or 6? widths to cover a range of surface shapes. The masking paper is also specially-treated to resist penetration by solvents, lacquers and enamels and withstands bake cycles up to 400?øF (204?øC) for 1 hour.
